Job description

Become the newest carpenter in the workshop of HQ Pack! We prefer if you have some experience already, but if you are willing to learn about woodwork: don't be shy, please apply! It helps if you can read technical drawings, but you can be trained on the job.

 

You'll be welcomed by a great team of colleagues, the smell of fresh wood, and the whirring of machines. Your main task is to produce special boxes for the transport of machine parts. You'll start by cutting wooden plates, using a wall saw or wall table. As your skills improve, you're trusted with more advanced tasks.

 

Grab this opportunity to learn on the job! After 12 weeks, your Teamleader may give a raise for good performance. HQ Pack has a beautiful canteen with free tea, coffee, and soup. You'll also find many different meals to buy, and comfortable tables and booths to eat at. Last but not least, many of our employees have received a direct contract from HQ Pack and are now working for them directly. This could be you!

 

Working hours (subject to change):
Shift 1: 06:00 - 15:00
Shift 2: 15.00 - 00.00

• You live near Eindhoven and have your own transport to work
• You know at least basic English or Dutch (A2 or better)
• You have some experience or are willing to learn

Remarks

HQ Pack develops and produces very sophisticated high-end flight cases, sometimes with lifting and hydraulic installations inside, for very specialized customers. These cases are used to store and ship expensive machine parts all over the world. After usage, the flight cases are returned to HQ Pack for an extensive inspection, repair, and/or cleaning before being re-used. Sometimes these flight cases are too damaged or not needed anymore. Those cases are carefully disassembled and recycled to produce new cases. ASML Lithography is an important customer of HQ Pack.
